Secret Anthology Film - Artist Application
WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?
The final result of this project will be an anthology film featuring a diverse grouping of "moving-image" works tied together by a singular prompt. The full details of this prompt will be revealed to the artists who are given an offer to contribute. But the main element of the project is:
You will be given a piece of audio dialogue and tasked with creating a short video work that incorporates that piece of audio in whatever way you prefer.
Some artists have animated the dialogue. Others have created abstract images that reinforce the tone of the dialogue. Others have made tiny short films. There are endless ways to play with this, and it is up to the selected artists to pitch their ideas.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for 10 artists to create a video/film/moving-image work ranging from 30 to 90 seconds in length.
Previously selected artists range from animators, puppeteers, cinematographers, and more. All moving-image mediums are welcome to apply.
